Following his recent collaborations with Ai Records, Electronique.it, and Icon of Desire, passEnger finally comes back to Eclipsemusic to release a new 12” vinyl record, titled ‘Chord Abuse EP’.
The release takes off with “Solar Flare”, one of passEnger’s most airy, housey and positive works till now, with its melodic sequence and uplifting atmosphere. On the same side of the 12”, “Surface Debris” de-construct the classic techno elements to build an abstract, moody, hyper-cynetic slice of futuristic techno.
On side B “Solar Flare” gets then a special remix treatment by Stephen Brown, one of the most personal and notable European Techno producers: the result is a tight, swinging rework of tiny slices of the original, turning the track into a classic techno builder.
