First album for the talented beginner Alessandro Lerario (Code 0066). 53 Minutes is the total playing time of a selection of tracks produced without the use of expensive synths or drum machines, where prevailed first of all instinct and inspiration. Alessandro has a very particular approach to music. Its ability to shape sounds without a deep knowledge of sound synthesis has led him to explore his musical universe inspired by a close relationship with nature. Some of the songs were produced in the form of sketches in the midst of meadows and woods with the only using of laptop and headphones, then be processed in the studio with machines and effects. Driving force of this work are dub and deep techno sounds with intervals of field recordings and ambient textures. The result is a musical journey where he alternates peaceful moments as the title track 53 Minutes or Lone to relevant dub techno classic cues such as 7 AM and Rust to get to real attempts at experimentation as in the song Viola performed in collaboration with a real violinist.
